IR Tracking Cameras
Pixelwix IR software uses any Optitrack camera with resolutions ranging from 640 x 480 to 2048 x 2048 and spreads starting at 120HZ to 360Hz.
You would specify the wavelength and filter of your IR laser used.
For firearms training we use 780nm band pass but it's up to you.
We have found the small 3U an excellent USB choice for most users.
IR Laser
IR lasers need to match your cameras wavelength ,if using the IR software for Arcade Games or Firearms Simulation Training we, suggest the Laser Ammo range of Training Firearms and Laser attachments.
Pixelwarp Evo Ultimate
Evo Ultimate is used with the AutoBlend app and Optitrack cameras to scan the screen shape and then export files for Evo to modify the games image to fit the screen with warp and blend if multiple projectors are used.
Pixelwix IR Software
AutoBlend also provideds a map data file for the IR software. In this case it communicates with the camera and switches to IR mode and detects only the XY hit location of the IR laser.
This is then sent to an app currently running on Windows OS.
